It's Self Care Saturday! With the holidays coming up, we find ourselves in a season of giving. However, it is more important now than ever to take care of ourselves too, in every aspect – mind, body and spirit!
Self care habits should become a vital part of your everyday routine. They can help reduce inflammation, improve mood, decrease stress and help your body fight illnesses. This week, our Ballet Beautiful NYC Master Trainers share their favorite self-care rituals that get them through stressful days.
"Every night I take an Epsom salt bath with some lavender essential oil. It’s the perfect way to unwind, soothe sore muscles and relax." – Kara
"Every morning I try to start my day drinking a glass of lemon water. Lemon water cleanses the liver, is filled with vitamin C and helps with detoxification and digestion." – Lucy
"I love to wind down for bed with caffeine free herbal tea and take a much-needed screen break by reading a book." – Anais
