Hi Beauties,
As Summer comes to an end, we know everyone is wrapping up their travel plans. Vacation is a wonderful opportunity to rest and refresh the body and the mind. To me an ideal travel workout is portable (think movements that can be done in a small hotel room or on the beach!), fast and energizing. 15-30 minutes when you are traveling is just enough to keep you connected to your fitness goals and routine without overtaking your schedule. Try incorporating part of your regular routine in an unexpected place, like the beach, a garden, or poolside! Sprinkle in extra walking, bike riding or even swimming as part of your adventure to combine movement with sightseeing and relaxation.
Make the Most of Your Summer:
- Take your workout outside! Changing your environment is a great way to refresh your fitness program. Try incorporating part of your regular routine in an unexpected place, like the beach, a garden, or poolside!
- Add movement and make it a part of your adventure! Sprinkle in extra walking, bike riding or even swimming as part of your trip to combine low key exercise with sightseeing and relaxation.
- Be flexible, indulge here and there and remember to have fun! A successful vacation provides time to recharge. Don't stress out about how much you are or are not exercising and don't skip treating yourself to that delicious gelato or dessert that you might not normally eat. It's a vacation! Enjoy the adventure and know that your regular routine will be waiting for you when you arrive home!
