Starting on January 15 they will be presenting, Fairy Tale Fashion, “a unique and imaginative exhibition that examines fairy tales through the lens of high fashion.” From Cinderella’s glass slippers, to Little Red Riding Hood’s hood, it is clear that dress plays an important role in making fairy tales magical. The exhibition will include pieces from fashion designers such as, Dolce and Gabbana, Tom Ford, Marchesa, Alexander McQueen, Prada, and Rodarte. It definitely is something not to be missed! Wear: Wander Beauty by Lindsay Ellingson We are currently obsessed with Lindsay Ellingson’s new Beauty line Wander Beauty! Living in New York City can be quite hectic and we love that these makeup pieces make it easy to get ready on the go! There are so many fun colors and they are very easy to blend. They are also free of fragrance, mineral oil and parabens. Our favorites right now are the Wander Beauty On-The-Glow Blush and Illuminator, and the Love Lock Hydrating Lip Gel. Learn: Duolingo With the start of a new year, we like to think of fresh opportunities that will bring more inspiration and excitement into our lives! Learning a new language and traveling is a great way to do just that! We recently came across Duolingo, an amazing app that makes learning a language as enjoyable and convenient as possible. You can listen to the lessons while you are on the go and it actually becomes addictive. Who would have thought that learning a new language could also be so fun?! Read: 1Q84 One of Mary Helen’s favorite books is 1Q84! This book is gripping and keeps you engaged until the very last page. Whether you love mystery, fantasy, romance, or dystopian societies – this novel has it all. It is also a wonderful read that provides insight into the Japanese culture.
