Hi Ballet Beauties! I’m Ballet Beautiful NYC Master Trainer Natia.
Here at Ballet Beautiful I think that our approach to leg toning and strengthening is very unique. As a professional ballet dancer, I honestly believe it’s the best workout you can do to develop "ballerina legs" aside from actually doing ballet.
You can always spot a ballerina in a crowd--of course by her posture--but also by her legs, because of the way that ballet creates beautiful, long and toned muscles. So if you want to be mistaken for a ballerina, join me for this 30-minute leg workout that I have specially selected to get you as close as possible to that ballerina look.
Below is my 30-min leg workout playlist. I hope you enjoy it... and by "enjoy" I mean, feel the burn!
Hip and Thigh Workout
This is a great outer thigh workout designed to create lean, long, and strong legs. You will definitely feel the burn with this one!
Lean and Firm Inner Thighs
A classic Ballet Beautiful inner thigh workout that is very targeted--and in just six minutes, you'll feel like you can slip into the tightest jeans in your closet.
Ballerina Legs: Lengthen and Tone
This is a great workout for every muscle in the leg, from your calves to your thighs. It's one of my favorite workouts because it reminds me of the movements we do in ballet class at the barre, but instead it's on the mat. This type of workout is often referred to as the "floor-barre" technique. It is also no-impact, making it safer for bones and joints, and great for injury-prevention. And as a bonus, it also delivers a great lower-abdominal workout!
