Hi Beauties,
We love a Ballet Beautiful barre workout inspired by ballet class! Ballet barres are used to help us balance so we can target ballet muscles and gain more flexibility. Shape long and lean ballet muscles with our Barre Blast Challenge! This challenge mixes Barre focused workouts with classic Ballet Beautiful favorites, Swan Arms and stretches!
If you don't have a ballet barre at home, not to worry! When it comes to working out at home, creativity is essential to turn any room into your at-home studio but a ballet barre is not! Below are some ideas for finding your barre at home!
- Chair- A light-weight chair is an easy portable at-home barre option! I have also used a larger winged back chair when working in a home office space.
- Counter- A kitchen counter can make a great barre because it is high and sturdy! Keep a very light hold (I like to think of fingertips only!) and make sure that you have plenty of room for your legs.
- Furniture- A high top dresser or poster bed provides a sturdy barre type surface. Anything that allows for a light grip and balance will do!

Great ? the challenge will be great for the next week
Thank you! I finished this challenge a day ago, and boy did I feel my muscles! My calves and neck (!) ached from all the posture work!I hadn't done standing workouts for a while, but I was really happy how classical dance infused these exercises were. It really reminded me of being in a ballet class.
