We love an inner thigh workout that strengthens and sculpts the muscles and in ballet, dancers rely on their inner thigh strength to In ballet, dancers rely on the strength to properly turn out and stabilize from their hips, as well as, to execute jumps and beats with speed and precision. Focusing on the muscles of your inner thigh will help to balance the overall strength and tone in your legs. This allows the muscles in your quads, butt and outer thighs not to over work.

Bridge for Inner Thigh (Five Minute Bridge for Inner Thigh)
Laying on your back on the mat, knees together, heels together, pull in tight through the stomach and either lift your feet up to demi-pointe or keep them flat on the mat. Open the knees as you lift your hips and lower back down for 4 sets of 8 reps. 2-3 times per week.
Inner Thigh Leg Lifts (Five Minute Inner Thigh)
Laying down on the mat, pull in tight through the stomach, lift both legs up opening slightly through the hip & stretch long through the knees. Open the knees then cross close crossing one leg over the other, switching the bottom leg each time, for 4 sets of 8 reps. 2-3 times per week.
Classic Inner Thigh (Inner Thigh Burn)
Laying on your side on the mat, pulling in tight through the stomach, bring the top knee up and open, placing your foot on either on demi-pointe or flat on the mat, in front of or behind your bottom leg. If this isn’t comfortable, drop the knee down in front of your body. Stretch the bottom knee long through the toe, lower and lift for 4 sets of 8 reps. Switch sides and repeat on the other leg for 4 sets of 8 reps. For extra challenge and burn add a set of 1-2lb ankle weights. 2-3 times per week.
